Socko and Gasik were supporting Cmilyte and Kosintseva
September 4, 2008

Polish chess players Monika Socko and Anna Gasik who lost in the second round to  Hoang Thanh Trang from Hungary and to Lilit Mkrtchian from Armenia were sorry to leave Nalchik probably more than any other player.
Monika: I was very upset when I lost and didn't want to leave. Now that we visited the Blue Lake and Hot Springs I don't feel like leaving at all. I would like to stay in this beautiful city and play chess a bit more.
Anna: Beyond the lake and the springs we also saw the tiebreak.

- Who do you think is the strongest player at this Championship?
- I think the representatives from China. I also think of Koneru Humpy from India.

- Who did you support?
Monika: I'd say Cmilyte, Stefanova and Kosintseva

- What other feeling except sorrow because of your departure do you have?
Anna: I got a great experience of playing. I am only 20 and this is my first Championship. I am happy that I have participated in a top tournament like this one. I do hope this is not the last time.
